"D350 Metamorphosis" T-Shirt
Talk about a lie! This thing doesn’t even have a frame yet! But this rendering keeps me going. I’ve been itching to start this project for several years. It’s probably good I only have room for one vehicle in the garage because Caroline’s Mighty Max would probably never get done.
About the truck: Even in it’s parted out state, it is my pride and joy. The upcoming project will be my magnum opus.
In 2011, Project D350 was destroyed when someone crashed into it while it was parked on the street. That accident was likely the best thing that could’ve happened to it. Because it means a resurrection far better than it ever would’ve been otherwise. At the time it had been widened 4 inches to fit a Chevy TPI V8, it was bagged, body dropped, and had the worlds only (at the time) Homicide door that I had nearly completed. It was an interesting project but my fab work was sub-par and the amount of work that was needed to complete all the half-completed modifications was overwhelming.
The day it was destroyed was sad indeed, but it was necessary so that it could become something far greater.
I haven’t officially announced the plans yet, because the start date is still too far away. But I’ll reward you for reading with a summary…
2 LS4 V8 engines, All wheel drive, 4 wheel steering, Tube chassis, removable body, and yes, Homicide doors. Coming soon. Ish. Behind the scenes, I’ve already obtained both drivetrain donor Vehicles and wired both engines to one accelerator pedal as a proof-of-concept. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to answer any questions you have about it in the form on the contact page. https://Mankandy.com/Contact
About these shirts: I make them myself! I’ve been told that’s the only way to supply Garage Fab viewers with shirts that don’t suck.
I use Bella-Canvas blank shirts, (Very soft. I love them) and high quality heat transfers. I’ve washed a shirt 10 times so far and it still looks pretty fantastic.
Shirts are made hot and fresh when you order!
